EU citizens are driven into serious crises – Schwab: Von der Leyen determines Europe’s actions

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is visibly proud of the efforts EU countries are making to bring Russia to its knees through economic sanctions. She even claims that these sanctions and self-sanctions by many companies will help to end the war in Ukraine.

In parallel, economists at the World Economic Forum draw a bleak future for EU citizens and some EU parliamentarians even accuse von der Leyen of lying as well as destroying the economy.

“The economy of the future,” however, “will no longer rely on oil and coal, but on lithium for batteries, on silicon for chips, on rare earths, permanent magnets for electric vehicles and wind turbines,” von der Leyen told the forum.
