On September 1, I reported on a document that a colleague gave me to evaluate. It was a summary of a study by the very influential RAND Corporation, which stated in the paper that the U.S. economy and political dominance can only be preserved if sufficient money flows can be directed from Europe to the U.S. and if the German economy is destroyed so that a possible rapprochement of Germany and Russia cannot become a threat to the U.S. The paper also states that the U.S. is planning to destroy the German economy with the help of the Greens.

The paper is dated January 25, 2022, so it was written a month before the Russian intervention in Ukraine began. The document already predicted the escalation of the military conflict, and the authors considered it desirable to draw Germany into the coming military confrontation with Russia in Ukraine in order to deepen the rifts between Russia and Germany. However, “just” supplying Germany with weapons for the Ukrainian war against Russia was also highly desirable because it would increase Russian distrust of Germany and make a possible rapprochement more difficult.

The key to the success of the plan were the Greens, Habeck and Baerbock were mentioned by name, and it was stated:

“The prerequisite for Germany to fall into this trap is the leading role of the Green parties and ideology in Europe. The German Greens are a strongly dogmatic, if not zealous, movement, which makes it quite easy to get them to ignore economic arguments. In this respect, the German Greens outperform their counterparts in the rest of Europe. Personal characteristics and the lack of professionalism of their leaders – most notably Annalena Baerbock and Robert Habeck – suggest that it is almost impossible for them to admit their own mistakes in time.” So in the U.S., if the document is genuine, one is deliberately counting on the ideological delusion and incompetence of the Green “top personnel” to decisively weaken Germany. And you can say what you want, Baerbock and Habeck are doing their job excellently, if you have the destruction of the German economy as a goal.
The question was whether the document was genuine. I am now convinced that it is, because a few days after my article, other portals began reporting on the document. In some cases I know that my publication was their source, but in some portals I know that my report can have nothing to do with it. This suggests that the document was indeed leaked by someone in Washington and not just made available to me and my source.
