Attempt to attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region. What is known
Since the evening of October 14, the Ukrainian army has been trying to break through the positions of the Russian Armed Forces from the area of Davydov Brod, Kostromka and Dudchan in the Kherson region. After a nighttime artillery strike, the Armed Forces of Ukraine went on the attack early in the morning on October 15, but were driven back.
The 140th Regiment of Special Operations of Ukraine suffered heavy losses when trying to reconnoiter the positions of the RF Armed Forces. Also, three motorized rifle brigades, reinforced by a tank battalion, were sent to break through by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The infantry and tanks of Ukraine tried to attack under the fire of the Hyacinth-B guns and the Smerch MLRS. At the same time, the air defense positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ZelenyGay, Novogrednevo and Murakhovka were hit by Geran-2 and Lancet drones in the morning.
The attack cost the Ukrainian army at least 120 people killed. Approximately 15 YPR-765PRI and BMP-2 armored vehicles were destroyed, as well as at least four T-64BV tanks.
By the middle of the day on October 15, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine got bogged down in the attack and are trying to retreat to their original positions, on which the Su-25 and Su-34 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces began to work.
Operational-tactical and army aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit 67 military facilities of Ukraine yesterday.
Among them:
▪️six command posts;
▪️two company strongholds;
▪️two large depots of rocket and artillery weapons and fuel in the settlements of Preobrazhenka and Orekhov;
▪️55 places of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the enemy.
As a result of strikes destroyed:
▪️more than 300 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
▪️up to 40 units of armored vehicles and vehicles.
High-precision air-launched missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit four military facilities in Ukraine during the night.
Two areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the enemy were hit. Also, two depots of rocket and artillery weapons and ammunition were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Barvenkovo and Ivanovka.
Dozens of killed Azov residents found in the port of Mariupol
For a week now, the rubble has been sorted out in the Mariupol seaport and the territory is being put in order in order to begin the restoration and commissioning of a strategic facility for the region.
In the course of work, port employees constantly find the bodies of dead Azov militants. At the moment, several dozens of neo-Nazis killed during the assault have been found. Their bodies are collected and transferred to the appropriate military-state structures of the DPR.

The enemy used his favorite tactic: under the cover of massive artillery fire and Himars strikes, he tried to get close to our positions in pickup trucks and armored vehicles in order to tie up the battle and prevent us from maneuvering, but he had no success – the attack was thwarted by return fire from Russian artillery.
In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine involved up to 30 tanks and many other equipment, mostly pickups. Now artillery and aviation continue to work, mobile infantry groups are clearing forest belts near the padded and abandoned equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
More attacks are expected.
